Who I am as a therapist is shaped by many things: my childhood and the culture in which I was raised, my education, training, work and personal experiences and my professional and personal relationships with others over the course of my career.
Prior to opening my private practice, I worked with clients in college counseling centers, hospitals, outpatient programs, and research institutes. Most recently, I completed a two year psychodynamic training program at Access Institute. My training at Access was rigorous and extensive. It not only helped me consolidate my many years of experience in the field, it deepened my understanding of people, psychology, mental health and the importance of emotionally supportive relationships.
